A new arrival to the transoport platoon of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) in Korea, is Private (Pte) Ted Samuelson of Gloucester, NSW. He is sitting at the wheel of a captured truck examing the Russian lettering on the dashboard. Before joining the army Pte Samuelson worked for the Alex Ross Sawmills near Gloucester. (Pte Ted Samuelson is probably 28207 Mervyn Charles Samuelson).
