Brigadier G R D Musson (right) CBE, DSO, Commander of the 1st Commonwealth Division, watches a picked Australian platoon of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), start out on an endurance test which involves a forced march across ten miles of rugged country near the truce line. The Australian soldiers are competing against other Commonwealth units in the march. They later came in second to the winning platoon from the 1st Battalion, The Dorset Regiment.
