Soldiers of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) are putting on a feast for 50 Korean war orphans who are visiting the truce line camp of 1RAR to give a concert. Private (Pte) A C Hunter (left), of Cairns, Qld, and another unidentified soldier, make sure no one goes hungry. A packed audience of soldiers heard the talented children sing their way through a programme of Korean folk songs and English classics, and give solo piano and violin recitals. The hit of the concert was a piano duet by two three year old children whose heads hardly reached the keyboard. All the children come from the Bukhansan Orphanage at Seoul. Included in the array of food on the table are Mars Bars. (Pte A C Hunter is probably 11403 Alpha Cashmore Hunter).
