The 'Korean Ashes' were played in Korea on the weekend of 15-16 October 1955. Australia lost the match to England. The Australian captain, Lt I G McLellan, of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR), won the toss from the England captain, Major K M Goodall, of the 19th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, but his team was defeated by 43 runs in a tense finish. Lt McLellan captained the Duntroon eleven last year.
