16327 Private (Pte) John M "Speedy" O'Connor (facing camera) talks with an unidentified soldier in the covered mess area of Stass Base Camp, near the Indonesian-Malaysian border. Pte O'Connor was later killed in action on 6 August 1967, while serving in Vietnam with 7 Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR).
