Aircraft Navigator's Seat : Royal Australian Air Force
Description
Aircraft navigator's seat of the type fitted to Lancaster aircraft. The seat is made of rivetted aluminium and has a circular base, 35 centimeters in diameter. The seat is designed to swivel and stands 64 centimeters tall. Most of the seat's metal surfaces are well preserved apart from the base plate which is heavily corroded.
