Seven cylinder air cooled supercharged radial engine in wooden transport stand. 13.65 litre capacity. 289 kg weight. Serial number AS 38190 A409 373. Performance: 310 hp at 2100 rpm at 1829m. Fitted with a Type B Manifold assembly. Left hand tractor. Designed for fixed pitch airscrew.
History / Summary
Engine Type fitted to Avro Anson Mk 1 aircraft flown by RAAF. Also fitted in Airspeed A.S.5J Courier, Airspeed A.S.6JM/C Envoy 111, Avro 652 Mk II, Avro 652AS Anson 1,X., Bristol 124 Bulldog TM, de Havilland D.H.75 Hawk Moth. These motors were bought by Loneragans for their post war civil charter operation.
