Armed with an L4A4 Bren gun is possibly 1/6270 Lance Corporal (LCpl) Darryl William Wallace, D Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), returning to the company forward base at Stass from a week long jungle patrol. LCpl Wallace also served in South Vietnam with the 2nd Special Air Service Squadron in 1968 and with 3RAR later in 1968.
