Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) C W Rennick, President of the Australian Contingent Welfare Fund, British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF), and Lieutenant (Lt) N Wilkinson, Secretary, are discussing requests for allocations from the fund. This fund had spent approximately £51,000 in Japan in providing permanent amenities for Australian troops. The YMCA and Salvation Army have each been allocated approximately £10,000, and Australian Infantry battalions have been allocated £1,000 each.
