Highlight of the Royal Army Service Corps (RASC) annual Corps Week celebrations was the Motor Cycle Trial conducted at Higashi just outside Kure. The trial was won by 78 Company RASC, Korea. Here Craftsman 'Crash' Critail of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Light Aid Detachment (REME LAD) attached to the 78 Company makes a steep descent. 'Crash' gained third place in the Visitor's Individual entries. He is competitor number three and is riding a motor bike with the registration number 08YB31.
