Description

Although the Korean War has been over for more than two years, the truce camp at Panmunjom, sited between the Communist and United Nations forces, is still the only point where representatives of the two sides meet to settle disputes arising out of the truce agreement. Here two Communist guards, dressed in their quilted winter uniforms, stride unseeingly past a group of visiting Australian servicemen. The United Nations and Communist troops who occupy the truce camp ignore each other except when official business demands are met.
