The 1st Commonwealth Division, soon to be reduced to a Commonwealth Contingent, is handing over it responsibilities on the demarkation line in Korea facing the Communists to a Republic of Korea formation. Here, 340139 Lieutenant (Lt) Kenneth Robert Hutchinson, of South Yarra, Vic (left), a liaison officer with the 1st Commonwealth Division, explains the defence position to Korea officers. At right is 2397 Major Arthur David Elbourne, of Strathfield, NSW, Support Compnay Commander of the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR).
