A day prior to the 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) embarking for home on the trropship MV New Australia, the battalion had to be fed. Here, 13145 Private (Pte) WIlliam Alan Broomhall, of Mount Gravett, Qld (left), and 13605 Lance Corporal (LCpl) Donald Albert (Don) Thomson, of Proston, Qld (right) peel potatoes in preparation for one of the battalion's last meals in Korea before returning home to Australia.
