Members of C Squadron, 2 Cavalry Regiment (2 Cav Regt) resupply an Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV-25) in Ainaro, during a long-range reconnaissance patrol by the quick reaction force (QRF). The QRF was made up of members from 2 Cav Regt and 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). Standing on the back of the Unimog is Trooper Russell Jones. 2 Cav Regt provided mobility and armoured support to INTERFET, the International Force in East Timor, from its arrival in East Timor on 20 September 1999.
