Aerial view of part of Dili, taken from an Australian Army Sikorsky S-70A/UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, belonging to 5 Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt). Whole city blocks are burnt out and in ruins. Troops from INTERFET, the Australian-led International Force in East Timor, arrived in Dili on 20 September 1999. They found numerous buildings in Dili had been set alight by pro-Indonesian militia groups as they left Dili.
