A Caribou aircraft of No. 38 Squadron RAAF, on a dirt runway during a stopover at a landing ground in Maliana. Under the wing, Lieutenant Colonel Bill Houston of the Army History Field Team talks with two unidentified pilots. A 110 Land Rover and trailer, belonging to 1 Combat Engineering Regiment (1 CER) are behind the aircraft, and a group of local children look on, at a distance. All were deployed to Timor as part of INTERFET, the International Force in East Timor.
