Studio portrait of 5183 Private (Pte) Charles Henry McGoldrick, 16th Reinforcements, 1st Battalion, of Scarborough, South Coast, NSW. Pte McGoldrick enlisted on 14 December 1915 and embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Makarini on 1 April 1916. Wounded in France, he died of wounds on 16 September 1916 in England, aged 25 years. This image was taken from a collage of the descendants of Benjamin Rixon held at P04735.002.
