Pallbearers carry John Curtin's coffin to his grave at Karakatta Cemetery in Perth. Official pallbearers flank two Warrant Officers from each service. The coffin is draped with an Australian flag. Identified, left to right: Robert Menzies, Leader of the Opposition; Paddy Ryan, President of the Fremantle Branch of the Australian Labor Party; Vic Johnson, Labor Member of the House of Representatives for Kalgoorlie; two unidentified warrant officers from the Army and Navy; Frank Forde, Prime Minister of Australia; A J Reid, Under Treasurer of Western Australia; and an unidentified mourner. Following the coffin, and partly obscured, are Curtin's daughter, Elsie, and son, John.
