Description
The grave with original marker of NX34874 Captain (Capt) Athelstan Kendall Bosgard, 2/2 Battalion. Capt Bosgard, of Mosman, NSW, enlisted at Paddington, NSW, on 29 June 1940. He served in the Middle East, Greece and New Guinea. Capt Bosgard was killed in action on 27 November 1942, aged 22. He is buried at the Soputa War Cemetery, New Guinea.
