Recipients of awards are Major Harry Arthur Smith MC 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Warrant Officer Class 2 John William Kirby DCM 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Sergeant Robert Stanley Buick MM 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Corporal Robert Boyd Rutherford MM 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Lance Corporal Ronald Maxwell Eglinton MM 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Lieutenant Francis Adrian Roberts MID 1st Armoured Personnel Carrier Squadron, 2nd Lieutenant Dennis Claude Rainer MID 5th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, 2nd Lieutenant Geoffrey Martin Kendall MID 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, 2nd Lieutenant David Rae Sabben MID 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Corporal Phillip Ness Dobson MID 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Private William Alexander Akell MID 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment, Sergeant George Graham Chevalley BEM 6th Battalion The Royal Australian Regiment. 2nd Lieutenant Peter John Schuman MC 3rd Special Air Service Squadron had already returned to Australia.
