Gillman reports on some of incidental hazards of war encountered by 1st Australian Task Force in Phuoc Tuy Province - ants, bees, snakes, alligators, scorpions, enraged water buffaloes, startled deer or monkeys causing false alarms, falling branches in the jungle, tidal swamps that harbour insects, poisonous fish and giant crabs.
