Shop front containing mannequins, uniforms, gas masks, posters (one claiming "You love them, fight for them!""), Department of Information (DOI) photographs, Australian flags, and weaponry for an Australian Imperial Force recruitment display at Leviathan Clothing Company's shop on the corner of Bourke and Swanston Streets in the centre of Melbourne. The photograph was taken by Edwin Adamson (1895-1974). Adamson was one of Melbourne's leading commercial photographers. He photographed many AIF shopfront recruitment displays around Melbourne featuring mannequins, AIF posters, military equipment and uniforms, and DOI photographs.
