Studio portrait of NX50334 Private Bruce Stanton, 2/33 Battalion. Private Stanton, an apprentice of Leichhardt, NSW, enlisted at Sydney NSW on 21 June 1940. He died of injuries, aged 21, on 8 September 1943 in New Guinea and is buried at Bomana War Cemetery, near Port Moresby, New Guinea.
