A bus and a jeep are parked on the Binh Thuy airstrip and some local Vietnamese are waiting to board an aircraft. This was one of the stop-offs for USAF 002 Mission, a transport and logistics flight by 35 Squadron RAAF under control of the USAF. The Mission was flown by Caribou aircraft of 35 Squadron RAAF, known as Wallaby Airlines because of their 'wallaby' call sign.
