Studio portrait of 1819 Private (Pte) Edmond Arthur Ashdown, 13th Battalion of Mosman NSW. Pte Ashdown embarked with the 4th Reinforcements. He was killed in action on 11 April 1917, aged 36. This is a photograph from Sister Imlay's collection held in the Private Records Collection at PR87/107.
