Studio portrait of 6012 Corporal (Cpl) Leonard John Gosper 1st, of Meranburn, NSW. Cpl Gosper embarked from Sydney on HMAT Wiltshire on 22 August 1916. He was awarded the Military Medal (MM) on 20 December 1917. He was killed in action on 18 September 1918, aged 30, ad he has no known grave and he is memorialised at Villers Bretonneux, France. This is a photograph from Sister Imlay's collection held in the Private Records Collection at PR87/107.
