Informal portrait of Aboriginal serviceman, 217753 Corporal (Cpl) Donald George (Don) Beale, who served in Vietnam with 2 Troop, 1st Field Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers, attached to 1st Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR) between 13 May 1968 and 4 May 1969, manning a defensive position at Fire Support Base (FSB) Kerry. Cpl Beale continues the tradition set by his father and two uncles, all of whom served in the Army during the Second World War.
