Description
Clouds of smoke issuing from the ground where tanks are in action. The tanks brought with them much needed ammunition. The smoke feature on the right is overlooking the river which was occupied by the Chinese. The ford of the Kapyong River can be seen with the ridge in the background. This photograph was taken from the spur beneath the summit of Hill 504 occupied by C Company, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR).
