Studio portrait of QX7498 Sergeant (Sgt) Robert Gordon Hamilton (Gordon) Gulliver, 1st Australian Corps Troop Supply Column, of Brisbane, Qld. Sgt Gulliver enlisted on 8 May 1940 and left Australia on 28 December 1940, at the age of 27. He was commissioned during the war, and eventually retired in 1955 with the rank of Captain. His brother, 270655 Squardron Leader Donald Keith Hamilton (Keith) Gulliver, Commanding Officer, 93 Squadron, RAAF, was killed in a flying accident on 10 December 1945.
