Studio portrait of 54923 Acting Corporal (A/Cpl) Alexander (Alick) Heslop, 4th Reinforcements, 59th Battalion, of Quambatook, Vic, aged 21 years. A/Cpl Heslop enlisted on 13 September 1917 and embarked from Sydney aboard RMS Orontes on 5 June 1918. He later served as a corporal and returned to Australia on 8 July 1919. Letters held in the collection.
