He also served in South Vietnam with 9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (9RAR), from 1968-1969; 57096 Lt Bruce George Wallis, who served with 1st Australian Reinforcement Unit (1 ARU) in 1970 and with 7RAR, from 1970-1971 and again with 1 ARU in 1971; 54631 Signaller, Sgt Eric Thomas Smith, who served in South Vietnam with 557th Signal Troop in 1967 and later with the 110th Signal Squadron from 1967-1968; 1731462 Cpl Desmond Walter Leeson, who served in South Vietnam with 7RAR, in 1967.
