Medical evacuation of an injured soldier by a United States Army Bell 47D-1 Sioux helicopter. Stretcher bearers have carried the soldier up to the helicopter landing area at The Hook, Korea. Medical officers and stretcher bearers have secured the stretcher onto an external pod of the helicopter, prior to the patient being transported to a Mobile Army Surgical Unit (MASH). An unidentified US Army soldier stands and signals in front of the helicopter, while another soldier crouches at the rear of the helicopter to take a photograph.
