Studio portrait of WR/90 Leading WRAN Supply Assistant Merle Kelway Storrie, of Port Melbourne, Vic. Storrie enlisted on 29 March 1943 and served aboard HMAS Lonsdale. She was discharged on 9 January 1946. Merle's twin brother 19805 Sergeant (Sgt) Donald Kelway Storrie, 20 Squadron, RAAF, of Melbourne, Victoria, was posted missing from Darwin Base whilst minelaying in waters up to Japan in early March 1945.
