Sailor's black ribbon cap tally with gold cotton woven lettering 'H.M.A.S. SHOALHAVEN'.
History / Summary
Cap tally worn by a sailor serving in the River class frigate HMAS Shoalhaven. The ship was built at Maryborough, Queensland in 1944 and saw service in the Korean War as a convoy escort in 1950. She was broken up in 1962.
