Collection relating to the First World War service of 806 Private Arthur Colin Corney, 40 Battalion, 1918.

Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of a diary Corney maintained between 10 March and 15 May 1918 during his during return voyage from England to Australia. He writes of parade and guard duties aboard the ship, the weather and conditions at sea, church services, seeing flying fish, porpoises and sharks, deaths at sea, playing sport and cards, leave in Cape Town and Melbourne, and arriving in Hobart.
