Group portrait of 12 members of D Company, 22nd Reinforcements, 6th Battalion, standing behind a dirt and rock map of Australia with states outlined and underneath the map reads 'United We Stand'. Identified, back row on the far left is 6800 Private (Pte) Albert (Edward Harcourt) Kemp who later served in the Second World War with the service number V83889 in the 2/7th Battalion, where he was promoted to sergeant before his discharge on 10 July 1942. A lieutenant with the initials L G is identified in the back row, third from left.
