Description
The original grave of 1502 Trooper William Ewen Robert Elliott, 12th Reinforcements, 8th Light Horse Regiment, of Dimboola, Vic. A labourer prior to enlistment on 20 July 1915, Elliott embarked from Melbourne aboard SS Hawkes Bay on 21 October 1915. He was killed in action on 23 December 1916 at Magdhaba, Egypt, aged 20 years.
