Australian Station Flagship (Royal Navy) HMS Powerful. HMS Powerful with her sister ship HMS Terrible made up the Powerful Class of large cruisers. HMS Powerful was launched 24th July 1895 and proved to be an expensive ship and spent most of its time in the Royal Navy Reserve. She was renamed HMS Impregnable in November 1919 and sold for scrap on 31st August 1929.
