Studio portrait of Lieutenant (Lt) William Keating (Bill) Brennan, 12th Light Horse Regiment, of Woollahra, NSW. A squatter prior to enlistment on 26 June 1915, he embarked from Sydney aboard HMAT Aeneas with the 13th Reinforcements, 6th Light Horse Regiment, as a second lieutenant. Lt Brennan died of wounds on 20 April 1917 in Palestine, aged 30 years.
