Trousers : Iraqi Army
Trousers in 'chocolate chip' six colour desert camouflage pattern fabric. They have a concealed button fly, inset hip pockets and cargo pockets on the leg. There are two inset pockets at the rear. Seven small belt loops are sewn around the waist and there are three larger loops each secured by a button. Two fabric tabs with buckles are used to adjust the waist. The knees are reinforced and the cuffs are adjusted with shoelaces threaded through the hem. A label sewn inside the waist reads 'AL-SABAH size: XL'.
Trousers as worn by the New Iraqi Army which was developed by the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team (CMATT) in 2003. The six colour desert camouflage pattern, commonly referred to as chocolate chip camouflage, was used by the United States Army during the Gulf War, 1990-1991. The use of the pattern was subsequently discontinued and surplus uniforms were issued to the New Iraqi Army.
