Description
Flight Lieutenant 045430 Keith March talks with 0215111 Squadron Leader Graham Neil, who is crouching in the cargo area of a United States Air Force (USAF) North American Aviation OV-10A Bronco aircraft, tail number 67-14639, from the 19th Tactical Air Support Squadron (TASS). Food supplies are being loaded into the aircraft. The Bronco is a twin engined turboprop. RAAF personnel flew in this type of aircraft on Forward Air Control (FAC) duties in Vietnam, as part of the United States Tactical Air Control System, identifying targets for artillery and air strikes, and carrying out visual reconnaissance. This aircraft is now part of the National Collection held at the Australian War Memorial.
