Material collected by Lieutenant Rae Norman Nixon relating to his time as a prisoner of war in Burma and Thailand, Second World War. Copy of "Instructions to be given to War Prisoners who are quartered in the new No. 3 Branch Office of the Thai War Prisoners' Camp at Thanbyuzayat'; "House Rules for War Prisoners, No. 3 Branch Office of Thai War Prisoners. Camp at Thanbyuzayat"; memo on Concert Parties in Bangkok, appointing Nixon to look after Colonel Lilly's concert party dated 17 September 1945; handwritten letter and typed transcript to Nixon written by British Lieut. Ben Robins describing the events of the end of the war within Kanburi camp.
