Description

Souvenir program for a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a concert at 2.30pm on Sunday July 14 1918. The concert was organised by the French Red Cross in aid of the British Committee of the Red Cross at the London Coliseum. The front cover features the symbol of the Red Cross and handwritten details of the concert. The facing page has hand-drawn lettering and a cartoon of a top hat above a set of eyes and eyebrows. The concert featured twenty-six acts. The back page contains thanks from the British Committee of the French Red Cross. The concert was attended by Arthur Harry Wincen whilst serving in France with the 26th Battalion during the First World War.
