A Ford Consul sedan, which was ambushed by the Indonesian Regiment, Resimen Para Komando Angkatan Darat (RPKAD) in the town of Kuching. The occupants, one a senior diplomat, were murdered. The RPKAD were the forerunners of today's Indonesian KOPASSUS, special forces units.
