Description

Soldiers moving amongst stores and equipment on Anzac Cove looking south. The original caption describes this as the corner of No 3 Depot where H Weaver (probably 2607 Private Horace Kurrnell Weaver) was killed, behind which is the Ordnance Depot and then stacks of ammunition. The wharves have been stacked with boxes for protection from shrapnel and there are a number of boats and barges lining the beach.
