Talks of of Fukuika (Number 2B) POW camp known as "Nagasaki"; locals hiding arms in coffins, eating food left on graves, Captain 'Yate's dates', travel from Kobi to Fukuoka coal mines 11 May, sound and smoke of atom bomb on Nagasaki, aftermath and effects; arrived in Japan on Kamukura Maru; Frank Hole describes train trip from Nagaski; reception by Americans after release from camp, Red Cross girls, back in Sydney Harbour 13 October; meeting Lord Mountbatten.
