Description
Looking down onto Fire Support Base Isa which is accommodating 17th Construction Squadron and elements of 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR) in an area near the Long Hai Hills. A cluster of reinforced sleeping bunkers are visible (centre) and other larger tents (right). Three M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carriers, from the 3rd Cavalry Regiment are guarding the perimeter (far left) and some plant equipment including two towed rollers and a front end loader minus the wheels are visible (left). A sealed bitumen road is visible in the middle distance, with Vung Tau in the back ground.
