Group portrait of the crew of Flying Officer (FO) Frank Keith Morcombe, No 2 Squadron RAAF, of Coorow, WA. Identified left to right: Sergeant (Sgt) Leslie Richard Jope of Melbourne, Vic; Sgt Watts, FO Morcombe, pilot; Sgt Edmund Salsbury Smithard; Sgt Conner (possibly J Conners). Jope later died whilst on operations on 3 April 1943. Morcombe was transferred to 1 OTU as a flying instructor and was killed in a flying accident on 5 October 1943 at Sale, Vic.
