Portrait of 2787776 Private (Pte) Kenneth Raymond Houston, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), in civilian clothing. Pte Houston was deployed on 19 June 1968 with the 1st Australian Reinforcement Unit (1ARU) and transferred to 3RAR on 20 June 1968. Whilst serving with 3RAR in South Vietnam, Pte Houston died from illness (battle casualty) on 25 October 1968, aged 23.
