Description
The port side forward fuselage section showing the nose art on JA861 Avro Lancaster aircraft of 460 Squadron, RAAF, named 'Fooship II' (JA861). The art depicts a cartoon caricature wearing a crown and grass skirt, holding a boomerang, who is cooking Adolph Hitler in a large pot over a fire. This aircraft was destroyed over Hannover, Germany, on the night of 28 - 29 September 1943.
